Corona
When Gambrinus hired us in 1996, we quickly learned that consumers viewed the brand as a step outside the mainstream. To us, that was a good thing. The brand represented a real change in attitude – more than a good-time, sports-driven drink, Corona could stand for a laid-back, tropical approach to life. Our iconic work invited beer drinkers to kick back and enjoy a relaxed experience every time they popped the top off a bottle. On our watch, Corona supplanted Heineken as the number one beer import (a position Heineken had held since the end of Prohibition).
